Vehicle Systems
Lighting
Headlamps, taillamps, and side markers on the vehicle are all constructed from LEDs for energy efficiency. The controller board for the lighting system uses relays to control current to the headlamps and taillamps, and has a simple 555 timer circuit for a blinker. The relays are used primarily to provide an automatic headlight logic system. The lighting board also has a 5-volt auxiliary voltage bus, which is used for systems such as USB charging.
