Touchscreen Interfaces: The Future of Home Appliance Control
This project provides Freescale with prototype interfaces for touch-screens that can be used in field research. These prototype interfaces will simulate interaction with two appliances––a Washing Machine and a Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) Controller. Freescale is investigating the use of touch screens on home appliances by utilizing both the market research completed by Industrial Design and our prototype interface.
