Week 1 (August 29, 2004 – September 4, 2004)

The first busy week of Senior Design Projects has passed.  We are working on a "Power Supply for a Remotely-Operated Vehicle."  Weekly emails will be sent to keep clients, team members, and advisors up to date on the progress of the project.

This week we have accomplished the following:

1.) Assembled the design team

2.) The team leader and communication coordinator have been chosen:

        Team Leader-Jonathan Gettler

        Communication-Coordinator-Adam White

3.) Contacted the faculty advisors (Dr. Ajjarapu and Dr. McCalley)

4.) Meet with Dr. Ajjarapu for a 1 hour meeting discussing project details

5.) Requested more information from the client regarding technical details

The design team's next task is to discuss information provided by the client as soon as it arrives.  After this task we will be able to begin the in depth design process.
